What we Believe:

God has existed eternally and is the creator and is sovereign. God exists in three co-equal persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He came to earth, born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, sacrificed himself to pay for the sins of all by dying on a cross. After three days, Jesus rose from the dead, having demonstrated His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven and will return again to reign.

The Holy Spirit is present in the world, living in every Christian from the moment of Salvation. He provides guidance, and power for living if we seek continually seek to live under His control.

Man is made in God’s likeness. Unfortunately, all men sin, which causes separation from God. We need our Savior Jesus Christ to make us righteous before God.

Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Baptism does not save you, it is an outward declaration of an inward change. It is a biblical command that demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.

The Bible is God’s word, written by men under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the truth inspired by God, without error.

Weddings are an extension of Christian worship, which honor the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman. The use of facilities of this church are to be consistent with this understanding of God’s design.

Communion in and ordinance given to all believers by Jesus Christ to remember His sacrifice. It symbolizes the new covenant. The elements of bread and wine or juice are symbols of Christ’s broken body and shed blood. Communion is not a means of salvation, rather, it is a testament of a believer’s faith in the atoning work of the cross.
